ADVOCACY -
Just Do It!!
On February 4, 2010, King County Superior Court Judge John Erlick ruled that "state funding [for basic education] is not ample, it is not stable, and it is not dependable."

This is a HUGE victory for a million Washington school kids!  Read more here.

Make a Donation from your PTSA to the LW Citizens’ Levy Committee:

The district must pay the cost of the Levy/Bond Election.  This is done through the Levy Committee.  They need to raise @ $20,000 to fund the campaign and election.  While some donations are received from community businesses and supporters, the committee relies on continued support from the PTSAs in the district.

If you have allocated money for a donation to the levy committee, please send in your donation as soon as possible.

If you do not have money budgeted for a donation, please take the necessary steps to approve a donation for levy support.

Please consider a sizeable donation.  Our levy dollars no longer pay for ‘extras.’  They are essential to maintaining basic education in our district!
