Tips for completing this year's Charitable Solicitations renewal form
Must be received by May 31, 2009
You'll should need just 3 items to complete this. The postcard & instructions from WA State PTA, your 990 or 990EZ tax form for year-ending 2008, and the Charitable Solicitations form downloadable online (see below for link).
Item 1. Your PTA should have already received a packet with renewal instructions from WA State PTA. Pay special notice to whether or not you are required to file (gross receipts of $25,000 or more in 2007-2008).
Item 2. You'll need a copy of your 2007-2008 Form 990 tax return
Item 3. Use the Form 990 and a calculator to fill out the Charitable Solicitations renewal form available online
here. Print out the form and mail it, with a check and a copy of your tax return, to the
Office of the Secretary of State.
